As part of our dedication to research and solution identification, we focused the second round of our CSP application process on finding partners to develop data-driven roadmaps on thermal energy and energy storage \u2013 critical solution areas that currently lack industry-wide knowledge and reliable data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019re pleased to announce that we\u2019ve selected two organizations for this work:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Global Efficiency Intelligence, LLC<\/a> (GEI) \u2013 GEI\u2019s extensive published research on this topic and deep expertise in the apparel sector make them the ideal candidates to craft a roadmap for low-carbon thermal energy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Carbon Trust<\/a> \u2013 Blending technical competency, pioneering work in the energy transition and energy systems space, a systems approach, and apparel expertise in their corporate practice, the Carbon Trust emerged as especially well-suited for the energy storage roadmap.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both roadmaps will gather and establish an industry vision, creating alignment and accelerating decarbonization. Additionally, the roadmaps will serve as a foundation for future CSP funding on these reduction levers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We look forward to sharing the initial results of the roadmaps in spring 2024 and the final deliverables in summer 2024.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
